Early PR was founded by Nicole Early in 2018 after several years of helping political leaders get elected and decoding complex health-care challenges into digestible content. Frustrated with the divisiveness of politics, she sought to apply her creativity and media savvy skills to help grow businesses doing good across sustainability, health & wellness, and lifestyle industries. Nicole early and her team reached out to me to help translate these goals into an elegant brand refresh.

To start the process off, I created a set of moodboards that expressed much of what Nicole mentioned in our discovery meeting. I pulled precedent imagery of bold serifs and soft pops of color along with imagery of strong independent black women to create a visual story of what business casual looks like for Early PR. Her team is quite laid back, but maintain a level of professionalism so clients always feel welcomes and in good hands.
LOGO FAMILY
Moving on from the moodboard, I then set out to create a logo that expressed this professionalism while still feeling playful. Nicole had mentioned early on in the process how meaningful her last name was, its rich family history and unintentional symbolism of the morning hours really resonated with me and we decided to incorporate that concept in to the design. The final logo feels sophisticated, but incorporates bold shapes that can be utilized across various media channels in a playful way.
After finalizing the logo I then set to create a variety of deliverables, using both the logo and new brand colors/elements. Some of these deliverables included social media templates, presentation, templates and buisness stationary.
